Front Steering Knuckle: Service and Repair
Installation

AXLE AND DIFFERENTIAL: STEERING KNUCKLE: INSTALLATION

Use the same procedure for the RH side and LH side.

The procedure listed below is for the LH side.

1. INSTALL STEERING KNUCKLE

(a) Using SST and a press, install a new front axle hub bearing to the steering knuckle.

2. INSTALL FRONT DISC BRAKE DUST COVER   See: Wheel Hub/Service and Repair/Front Axle Hub/Installation

3. INSTALL FRONT AXLE HUB SUB-ASSEMBLY   See: Wheel Hub/Service and Repair/Front Axle Hub/Installation

4. INSTALL FRONT AXLE HUB HOLE SNAP RING   See: Wheel Hub/Service and Repair/Front Axle Hub/Installation

5. INSTALL FRONT NO. 1 WHEEL BEARING DUST DEFLECTOR   See: Wheel Hub/Service and Repair/Front Axle Hub/Installation

6. INSTALL FRONT LOWER BALL JOINT ASSEMBLY   See: Ball Joint/Service and Repair/Installation

7. INSTALL FRONT AXLE ASSEMBLY
