DRAIN COOLANT

1. Remove the radiator cap from the radiator reservoir.

WARNING: TO AVOID THE DANGER OF BEING BURNED, DO NOT REMOVE THE RADIATOR CAP WHILE THE ENGINE AND
RADIATOR ARE STILL HOT, AS FLUID AND STEAM CAN BE BLOWN OUT UNDER PRESSURE. 

2. Remove the water filler plug from the water inlet housing.

3. Remove the three drain plugs on the engine and radiator, and drain the coolant.
4. Close the three drain plugs and tighten the LH side (with oil cooler) to 24.5 Nm (18 ft. lbs.) and the other drain plugs to 12.7 Nm (9 ft. lbs.). 

FILL ENGINE COOLANT

1. Slowly fill coolant to the water inlet housing until it is full.

NOTE:
-

Use TOYOTA LONG LIFE Antifreeze Coolant", or equivalent, ethylene-glycol base coolant and mix it according to the manufacturer's
directions.

Using coolant which includes more than 50% ethylene-glycol (but not more than 70 %) is recommended.

Do not use an alcohol type coolant.

The coolant should be mixed with demineralized water or distilled water.

Capacity: 10.9 liters (11.5 US quarts). 

2. Install the water filler plug to the water inlet housing, tighten to 44 Nm (33 ft. lbs.).
