5. Support the crossmember component with a jack.

6. Remove the nuts at the front of the crossmember.

7. Lower the jack gradually and tilt the crossmember towards the front.

8. Remove the front lower arm inner side bolt (front).

NOTE:

-

When working on the right side of vehicles, move the engine and transaxle slightly towards the front side of the vehicle so that the engine does not
interfere with the removal of the lower arm rear side bolt.

1. Disconnect the No.1 engine mount (engine side).  See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Engine/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Engine

Removal/Installation

2. Move the engine and transaxle slightly towards the front side of the vehicle.

3. Remove the front lower arm inner side bolt (front).

1. Support the crossmember component with a jack.

2. Lower the jack gradually and tilt the crossmember towards the front.

3. Install the front lower arm inner side bolt (front).

4. Install the nuts at the front of the crossmember. 

Tightening torque

120-154 Nm {13-15 kgf-m, 89-113 ft-lbf}
