B2500 SX Regular Cab 2WD L4-2.5L VIN C (1999)
8. Disconnect the intake side spark plug wires from the front ignition coil. Position out of the way.
9. Disconnect the exhaust side spark plug wire retainers and engine control harness from the studs on the valve cover.
10. Remove the throttle body.
11. Remove the vacuum line from EGR valve and intake manifold.
12. Remove the valve cover.
1. Remove the 8 bolts.
2. Remove the valve cover and the gasket.
3. Discard the valve cover gasket.
13. Install a new valve cover gasket on the valve cover.
14. Install in reverse order of removal.
15. Tighten the 8 valve cover bolts.
Tightening torque: 9 - 13 Nm (92 - 132 kgf.cm, 80 - 115 inch lbs.)
