Hood Latch: Service and Repair

1. Raise and support the hood.

NOTE:  Mark the hood lock position prior to removal of the bolts.

2. Remove the bolts.
3. Position the hood lock aside.

4. Remove in order shown in figure.

1. Remove the hood lock cable conduit end fitting from the hood lock housing.
2. Remove the hood lock cable end fitting from the hood lock release lever.
3. Remove the hood lock.

5. Install in reverse order of the removal.

1. Adjust the hood lock.

Tightening torque:  10.5-13.5 N.m {107-138 kgf.cm, 93-119 in.lbf }
