B3000 SE Regular Cab 4WD V6-3.0L OHV (1998)
LEFT HAND VALVE COVER REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION
1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
2. Remove the upper intake manifold; refer to Upper Intake Manifold Removal/Installation.
3. Disconnect the LH spark plug wires at the spark plugs.
4. Remove the five bolts and the three stud bolts.
5. Remove the valve cover.
6. Remove the valve cover gasket, if required.
7. Install in the reverse order of removal.
Valve Cover LH Installation Note
1. Clean all mating surfaces.
2. Apply a bead of silicone sealant in two places where the cylinder head and cylinder block meet.
