Oil Pan: Service and Repair
REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION
1. Remove the hood.
2. Remove the fan blade; refer to Cooling Fan and Clutch Removal/Installation.
3. Attach the engine lifting eyes.
4. Remove the nuts.
5. Raise the engine and support with a Three-Bar Engine Support Kit.
6. Raise the vehicle on a hoist; refer to General Information.
7. Drain the engine oil.
8. Remove the starter motor; refer to Starter Motor Removal/Installation.
9. Remove the 16 bolts and the oil pan.
10. Remove the oil pan gasket.
11. Install in reverse order of removal.
