Intake Manifold: Service and Repair
Upper Intake Manifold
UPPER INTAKE MANIFOLD REMOVAL / INSTALLATION
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Remove the air cleaner outlet tube.
3. Disconnect the accelerator cable and the cruise control actuator cable.
4. Disconnect the engine control sensor wiring from the throttle position sensor, the idle air control valve and the EGR transducer.
5. Remove the two bolts.
6. Disconnect the vacuum tube.
7. Disconnect the EGR solenoid vacuum tube.
