Exhaust Manifold: Service and Repair
RIGHT HAND EXHAUST MANIFOLD REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION
1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Raise the vehicle on a hoist; refer to General Information.
3. Remove the LH Heated Oxygen Sensor (H02S).
4. Remove the nuts.
5. Lower the vehicle.
6. Remove the ignition coil bracket.
7. Remove the bolts and stud bolts.
8. Remove the exhaust manifold and the exhaust manifold gasket.
9. Position the exhaust manifold gasket and the exhaust manifold.
10. Install the bolts and the nuts. Tighten the sequence shown in two steps:
1) Tighten to 10 Nm (8 ft. lbs.)
