1. Install the transmission mount.

1) Position the transmission mount on the extension housing.
2) Install the transmission mount-to-extension housing bolts.

2. Install the transmission mount into the crossmember and tighten the transmission mount nuts.

NOTE:  Align the propeller shaft with the marks made during removal to ensure correct balance.

3. Align and install the rear propeller shaft.

4. Install the rear propeller shaft bolts.
5. Lower the vehicle.
6. Connect the battery ground cable.
7. Fill the transmission to proper fluid level. Check for proper transmission operation.

1) Use Mazda ATF TYPE 5 fluid.
