Pilot Bearing: Service and Repair
PILOT BEARING REMOVAL / INSTALLATION
1. Remove the transmission.
2. Remove the clutch disc and the clutch cover; refer to CLUTCH, M/T / SERVICE AND REPAIR.
3. Use Special Service Tool (SST) or equivalent to remove the pilot bearing from the crankshaft.
4. Use SSTs or equivalent to install the new pilot bearing into the crankshaft.
5. Install the clutch disc and clutch cover; refer to the procedure in this section.
6. Install the transmission.
