Heater Hose: Service and Repair

HEATER HOSE REMOVAL / INSTALLATION

1. Drain the radiator, see ENGINE COOLANT REPLACEMENT.

2. Remove the air cleaner outlet tube, see AIR CLEANER OUTLET PIPE REMOVAL / INSTALLATION.

3. On 2.3L engines, remove the heater hoses from the heater core.

Disconnect the vacuum line from the water control valve.

Remove the heater hose from the rear coolant tube,
