Mass Air Flow Sensor: Description and Operation
PURPOSE
The mass air flow sensor detects the amount of air entering the engine and sends a coresponding signal to the engine control module (ECM).
REMARKS

The intake air temperature sensor and the fuel pump switch are integral components within the mass air flow sensor assembly.

The mass air flow sensor is powered by a 5 Volt reference voltage.
