When completed, the safety belt should look like the belt shown on the left side of Figure 2.
Safety Belt Tongue Rotated on Belt:
1.
Grasp the belt tongue and pull down the webbing closest to you to form a loop through the upper (narrower) slot in the tongue. Figure 3 (left
side).
2.
Working within the upper slot, rotate and fold the belt webbing over itself as needed to remove the twist.
3.
Pull the excess belt webbing back through the upper slot in the tongue.
4.
Repeat the above steps as necessary to remove the twist at the lower (wider) slot in the tongue. Figure 3 (right side).
