Hydraulic Control Assembly - Antilock Brakes: Testing and Inspection
Solenoid Valve Body

Valve

8 Pin

1. Disconnect the ABS hydraulic unit connector (8-pin)
2. Measure the resistance between the following terminals. A-E, B-F. C-G. D-H

Resistance Approx. 3-5 Ohms

3. If not as specified, repair the hydraulic unit harness or replace the ABS hydraulic unit if necessary.

Valve and Harness

1. Turn the ignition switch to OFF.
2. Measure the resistance between a ground and the following terminals at the ABS control module connector:

1A Right Rear
1B Left Front
1C Right Front
1D Left Rear

Resistance approx. 3-5 Ohms.

3. If not as specified, check the wiring harness between the ABS hydraulic unit connector (8-pin) and the ABS control module, and check the

solenoid valves.
