About the Tribute
The Tribute was a compact SUV made from 2000 to 2011, developed jointly with Ford on a platform derived from the Mazda 626. It was the Mazda version of the Ford Escape, built alongside it at Ford's plant in Claycomo, Missouri, with a firmer suspension to suit Mazda's sporty image. The CX-5 replaced it in North America.
