3. If equipped with a manual transmission, release the clamp and disconnect the clutch hose from the brake fluid reservoir.

Plug the clutch master cylinder feed hose.

4. Disconnect the 2 brake tube fittings and plug the brake tubes and the brake master cylinder ports.

To install, tighten to 23 Nm {2.3 kgf-m, 17 ft-lbf}.

5. Remove and discard the 2 master cylinder nuts.

To install, tighten new nuts to 25 Nm {2.5 kgf-m, 18 ft-lbf}.

NOTE:Install new master cylinder nuts. 

6. Remove the brake master cylinder assembly.

7. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
