Alignment: Service and Repair
Front
The independent front and rear suspension system is designed for minimum maintenance. Other than incorrect front toe, front chamber and rear toe,
suspension misalignment can only result from wear or damage to suspension parts or distortion of body structure due to collision damage.

CAMBER
1.
Raise and support front of vehicle.
2.
From inside engine compartment, remove mounting block nuts located on top of strut tower.
3.
Push mounting block downward and turn to desired position, Fig. 1.
4.
Install mounting block nuts, then torque to 22-30 ft. lbs.
TOE-IN
1.
Loosen left and right tie rod locknuts.
2.
Release clips at small ends of steering gear boots.
3.
Turn tie rods equally until desired toe-in setting is reached. Left and right tie rods are both righthand threads. One turn of the tie rod (both
sides) makes a toe-in change of about 0.24 inch.
4.
Torquetie rod locknuts to 25-29 ft. lbs.
