2. Use a screwdriver to remove the 3-4 clutch pressure plate retainer snap ring.
3. Remove the 3-4 clutch pressure plate, 3-4 clutch internal splice clutch plates and 3-4 clutch external spline clutch plates.

NOTE:  Identify the clutch plates, their order, and their direction when removing them to aid in installation.

4. Use a hydraulic press and Bridge (part of T78P-3504-B) to compress the 3-4 clutch piston return springs and remove the 3-4 clutch snap ring.
5. Remove the clutch piston spring retainer and the 3-4 clutch piston return springs.

6. Remove the 3-4 clutch piston from the 3-4 clutch drum and input shaft by turning the 3-4 clutch piston.
