9. Slide off the inboard front wheel driveshaft joint boot from the halfshaft.
NOTE: If the front wheel driveshaft joint boot is to be reused, wrap the halfshaft splines with tape before removing the front wheel driveshaft
joint boot.
10. If it is necessary to replace the outboard front wheel driveshaft joint boot on the RH halfshaft, slide off the outboard front wheel driveshaft joint
boot from the halfshaft.
NOTE: Do not remove the front brake anti-lock sensor indicators. If service to the front brake anti-lock sensor indicators is required, refer to
Wheel Speed Sensor. See: Powertrain Management/Computers and Control Systems/Sensors and Switches - Computers and Control

11. If it is necessary to replace the outboard front wheel driveshaft joint boot on the LH driveshaft, remove the dynamic damper as follows:
a. Use a screwdriver to pry up the dynamic damper retaining bands.
b. Use pliers to remove the dynamic damper retaining bands.
c. Pull off the dynamic damper.
12. Slide off the outboard front wheel driveshaft joint boot from the halfshaft.
ASSEMBLY
1. Slide the outboard front wheel driveshaft joint boot on the halfshaft.
