With tailgate fully closed, the dampers should be depressed between 2 mm to 8 mm. If less than 2 mm, add shim(s), If more than 8 mm,
remove shim(s).
NOTE:
A visual inspection of the damper's travel is possible by viewing the damper from behind with the tailgate closed.
