STEP 3. Check the harness wires between sunroof motor assembly connector D-06 and fusible link (5).
NOTE: After checking intermediate connectors C-31 and C-89, check the wires. If intermediate connectors C-31 or C-89 are damaged, repair or replace
them. Refer to Harness Connector Inspection.
Q: Are the harness wires between sunroof motor assembly connector D-06 and fusible link (5) in good condition?
YES: No action to be taken.
NO: Repair or replace them. The sunroof should work normally.
STEP 4. Check the sunroof motor assembly power supply circuit (battery) at the sunroof motor assembly connector D-06 by backprobing.
1. Do not disconnect the sunroof motor assembly connector D-06.
2. Measure the voltage between terminal 3 and ground by backprobing.

The measured value should be approximately 12 volts (battery positive voltage).
Q: Does the measured voltage correspond with this range?
YES: Go to Step 7.
NO: Go to Step 5.
STEP 5. Check sunroof motor assembly connector D-06 for damage.
Q: Is sunroof motor assembly connector D-06 in good condition?
YES: Go to Step 6.
NO: Repair or replace it. Refer to Harness Connector Inspection. The sunroof should work normally.
