Compressor

X - Y = Z cu.cm / X fl.oz -Y fl.oz = Z fl.oz

X = 140 cu.cm (3.4 fl oz) 

(Y is the amount removed from the new 
Compressor) 

NOTE:   When replacing the following parts at the same time 
as the compressor, subtract the rated oil amount of each 
part from "Z" and discharge that amount "B" from the new 
Compressor 

CALCULATING AMOUNT TO DISCHARGE FROM 
COMPRESSOR 

Evaporator

Z - A = B

A = 60 cu.cm (2.0 fl oz) 

Condensor

Z - A = B

A = 15.cu.cm (0.5 fl.oz) 

Suction Hose

Z - A = B

A = 10 cu.cm (0.3 fl oz) 

Reciever

Z - A = B

A = 10 cu.cm (0.3 fl oz)
