Open the front door. Apply a bead of clear RTV silicone sealant along the bottom edge of both the upper and tower door hinges.

NOTE:  

Fender was removed in photo for clarity. Fender removal is not required for repair procedure.

4.

If necessary, repeat Steps 1 through 3 on the other side of the vehicle.

5.

Test drive the vehicle to confirm the wind noise is eliminated.

Some affected vehicles may experience wind noise in the right or left side cowl area. The noise is typically due to lack of sealant at the lower tip of the
A-pillar or a loose tape plug underneath the door upper and lower hinges.

This bulletin describes how to apply sealant to these areas In order to reduce or prevent the noise.
