Suspension Strut / Shock Absorber: Service and Repair
Shock Absorber

1. Raise rear of vehicle, then position jack stands under frame side rails.
2. Position jack under suspension arm to keep it raised.
3. Remove wheel and tire assembly.
4. Remove upper and lower shock absorber mounting bolts, then the shock absorber.
5. Reverse procedure to install, then tighten upper and lower mounting bolts to specification.
