Install shoe retainer on end of piston, ensuring piston and retainer are positioned as shown in Fig. 3.
12.
Install bleeder screw and torque to 110 inch lbs.

If first design shoe and lining assemblies are being installed, mount insulators (4), Fig. 1, on caliper bracket.
2.
Position caliper on mounting bracket, ensuring insulators and mounting bolt boots remain in place.
3.
Apply thin coating of brake lubricant to caliper mounting bolts, install bolts and torque to 63 ft. lbs.
4.
Install brake hose, if removed, and torque fitting bolt to 24 ft. lbs.
5.
Install wheels and lower vehicle.
6.
Fill master cylinder and bleed brakes as needed. Do not attempt to move vehicle until brake pedal has been pumped several times and
sufficient braking action has been restored.
