FLIP-DOWN COVER RETAINED:
Install console thickness adapters as shown below. These adapters are packaged with each radio.

Move wiring loom for radio to left side of opening and antenna lead to right side.

Hold radio near opening and connect radio wiring and antenna lead to corresponding vehicle connectors. Be sure that no wires are positioned on
top of the ashtray compartment.

Insert radio 1/4 of the way into radio opening.
12.
Insert one hand into opening below ashtray and locate radio rear nipple and rear radio support bracket.
13.
Using the other hand, slowly insert the radio, using the hand below to guide the rear radio nipple into the rear radio support bracket.
14.
Insert radio straight in until radio side clips touch opening for radio.
15.
Push radio in one side at a time. Do not force it. If problems are encountered, pull radio out and reposition wiring so that it does not interfere with
rear radio mounting nipple.
16.
Install trim ring fully.
17.
Position wiring under radio so that it does not contact the shift rod (5-speed). Use a wire tie if necessary. Tape 13-pin connectors together to
prevent accidental removal of lego-to-13- pin adapter if exchange unit is installed.
18.
Reinstall storage box below radio.
19.
Place shift lever in "Neutral" (Manual) or "Park" (Automatic).
20.
Turn ignition on to "accessory" position and turn radio on:
A.
Check if power antenna goes up, pull up manual antenna
B.
Turn fader clockwise to front speaker position
C.
Turn balance left/right to check front speakers
D.
Turn fader counter-clockwise to rear speaker position (if installed)
E.
Turn balance left/right to check rear speakers (if installed)
