The needle valve should be dipped in clean test fluid and inserted into the nozzle body. Hold at a 45~ angle, pull out the needle valve one-third of
the way then allow the valve to slide down, under its own weight, to its original position.

If the valve fails this test, clean again and retest.

Reassemble all parts of injector, WHICH MUST BE PERFECTLY CLEAN, as shown below.

Torque injector assembly cap to holder, and tighten to 6 daN-m (45 ft.lbs.) as shown below.
IT IS IMPERATIVE THAT YOU DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN AS THIS WILL CAUSE PERMANENT DISTORTION TO THE
INJECTOR HOLDER AND NOZZLE AND WILL DESTROY THE UNIT BY BINDING NEEDLES.
