B - Without clearance at the pressure rod (piston rod)
C - Pressure rod (piston rod) must be pulled back by the clutch pedal with at least 30 N.

Depress clutch pedal a few millimeters and release. The pedal must return automatically all the way to its original position (final position of the
clutch master cylinder).

Pull pedal pad back to check whether the final position has been reached.

If necessary (if the pedal can be pulled back slightly), rectify the cause. Check servo spring, servo spring pretension and the freedom of travel of
the clutch pedal shaft. Increased force required to depress the pedal is a further sign of a damaged servo spring (lack of servo back-up force).
