Preliminary work

Remove operator control unit for garage door opener. Refer to Removing and installing operator control unit for garage door opener.

Removing front trim.

Removing front trim panel

1. Remove front trim panel.

1.1. Unclip covers -1- on the front trim panel -3-.
1.2. Unscrew fastening screws -2- and remove front trim panel -3- in a downward direction -Arrow- until the connector for the interior light -4- is

accessible.

1.3. Release connector for interior light -4- (-Arrow A-) and pull off connector -Arrow B-.
1.4. Remove front trim panel -3-.
