Checking rear spoiler

INFORMATION:

-

The rear spoiler reduces the drag and, particularly at higher speeds, reduces the rear-axle lift.

-

The rear spoiler extends at approx. 120 km/h (75 mph) and retracts again at approx. 80 km/h (50 mph).

1. Extend rear spoiler.

1.1. Switch on the ignition and press the button until the rear spoiler reaches its upper limit position.
1.2.Switch off ignition.

2. Check extension height of rear spoiler.

2.1. Check extension height in the centre between the lower edge of the rear spoiler -1- and the upper edge of the rear lid -2-.

Extension height on Coupe: -X= 35 mm-
Extension height on Cabriolet: -Y= 60 mm-

3. Retract rear spoiler.

3.1. Switch on the ignition and press the button until the rear spoiler reaches its lower limit position.
3.2. Switch off ignition.
