Oil drain plug on crankcase

2. Loosen the oil drain plug on the oil tank and drain the oil. Counter with an open-ended wrench so as not to damage the oil tank.

3. Drain engine oil from the turbochargers. To do this, unscrew the drain plugs on the oil tanks and drain the oil.

4. Clean the oil drain plugs, replace all sealing rings and tighten the drain plugs to the specified tightening torque. Make sure that the sealing ring on

the oil tank is 2 mm thick. Counter at the oil tank with an open-ended wrench when tightening the drain plug. 

- Tightening torque (Oil drain plug on crankase): 70 Nm (52 ftlb.) 
- Tightening torque (Oil drain plug on oil tank): 60 Nm (44 ftlb.) 
- Tightening torque (Oil drain plug on oil tank for turbocharger): 10 Nm (7.5 ftlb.)
- Tightening torque (Oil filter cover): 25 Nm (19 ftlb.)
 
Removing oil filter

1. Loosen the oil filter with special tool oil filter spanner 9204.
