Starter (manual transmission)

2. Remove cover (rubber cap) on upper clutch housing close to the release lever.
3. Insert the clutch slave cylinder into the vehicle with the push rod facing towards the transmission and turn it into its installation position.
4. Secure the holder (between the clutch slave cylinder and transmission) loosely to the clutch slave cylinder with a screw. It is very difficult to insert

the screw later.

5. Fit the clutch slave cylinder to the transmission housing/release lever. Make sure the push rod is positioned correctly.

Do not tighten the fastening screws yet. This ensures better access to the pressure line.

6. Fit pressure line to the clutch slave cylinder.
7. Tighten the pressure line -3- and secure the clutch slave cylinder.

Tightening torque: 20 Nm (15 ftlb.) - Tightening torque: 45 Nm (33 ftlb.) - Tightening torque: 23 Nm (17 ftlb.)

Insert the return line -2-.

Fit the hose of the master cylinder line -1- on the clutch slave cylinder. - Tightening torque: 30 Nm (22 ftlb.).

8. Screw the master cylinder line together and insert it into the guide on the body. - Tightening torque: 30 Nm (22 ftlb.)
