Installing sealing ring on drive shaft

1.3.

Drive sealing ring in as far as the mounting face using the pressure piece 9256.

2. Install guide tube and tighten the fastening screws.

The guide tube fastening screws are micro-self-locking and must always be replaced. Screws for guide tube - Tightening torque: 10 Nm (7.5 ftlb.)

3. Clean the drive shaft splines and grease with a thin coat of Olista Longtime 3 EP (only as corrosion protection).

Subsequent work

1. Install release bearing.
2. Refit transmission.
3. Install engine-transmission unit.
