Selector force mechanism

A - Stud
B - Circlip
C - Lid

Replace lid for selector force mechanism!

1.1.

Insert lid -C- and circlip -B- into the housing bore.

1.2.

Move lid -C- and circlip -B- into position.

Press circlip and lid down using a press-out mandrel p 375 until the circlip engages in its groove.

Information

Make sure that the circlip is seated correctly.

1.3.

Screw in and tighten studs -A-.

Tightening torque: 23 Nm (17 ftlb.)

Subsequent work

1. Install engine-transmission unit.
