Removing and installing wiper arm for rear window wiper system

Removing wiper arm for rear window wiper system

1. Switch on ignition, turn on wiper for rear window wiper system and as soon as the wiper is positioned vertically, switch off ignition. The wiper

must remain in a vertical position.

CAUTION:  Danger of crushing and trapping when working on the rear window wiper system.

Before removing wiper arm, remove ignition key and switch off steering column switch.

2. Unclip cap -1- at the sides and remove it.
3. Loosen fastening nut -2-.
