3. Push the ball head into the lock on the deflector. To do this, use an -open-ended wrench (a/f 22) on the deflector hexagon- and turn it until the end

of the cable can be inserted.

4. Engage the -safety bracket- into the holder on the deflector and make sure it is fitted correctly. Observe the following note for this purpose:

Damaged safety brackets must be replaced. The brake cable can become detached if the safety bracket is defective.

Clip in -safety bracket (direction arrow)-.

Safety bracket- in end position.

5. Install cover of driver's footwell.
6. Perform a function test.
7. Install centre console.
8. Install lower A-pillar trim.
