7. Remove the central screw and pull the belt pulley down and forward.

8. Undo the four fastening screws and remove the cover and sealing ring.
9. Clean the contact surface of the sheetmetal cover.

Installing sealing ring for crankshaft belt pulley 

Warning:  Risk of damage!

Sealing lip can be damaged!

Never pull the sealing ring from the assembly sleeve!

Do not touch the sealing lip! 

1. Place seal with assembly sleeve across crankshaft.

2. Tighten the two top fastening screws (M6 x 50) and the bottom fastening screws (M6 x 12) by hand. Tighten the screws crosswise to 10 Nm (7.5

ft. lbs.)
