5.6.2 Loosely pre-fit brake pressure lines (at the left --> Figure 13 -2- and right) on the relevant brake caliper.

5.6.3 Clip warning contacts for brake pad wear indicator into both brake pads --> Figure 13 -arrows-.

5.6.4 Engage line for warning contacts for brake pad wear indicator in the spring (--> Figure 13 -3-).

5.7 Fit new upper brake hose on the brake line (--> Figure 14 -1-) and engage it in the holder (--> Figure 14 -2-).

Tightening torque 14 Nm (10.5 ftlb.)

5.8 Install front brake caliper

5.8.1 Install front brake caliper --> Workshop Manual '47391900 Removing and installing front brake caliper - section on "Installing"'.

Brake caliper to wheel carrier, FA: Tightening torque 270 Nm (200 ftlb.)

5.8.2 Slide clip (--> Figure 15 -arrow-) over the brake line.

Position brake line in the holder and pre-fit it loosely on the brake hose.

Tighten the brake at the top and bottom.

Tightening torque 14 Nm (10.5 ftlb.)

5.8.3 Connect electric plug connection for brake pad wear indicator and engage lines in the bracket (--> Figure 16 -inset-).

5.8.4 Secure electric line with line bracket for warning contact to the brake line (--> Figure 16 -arrow-).
