Removing front brake disc
Information
In order to gain better access for removal of the brake calliper, it is beneficial to turn the wheels fully either to the right or the left.
1. Release retainer for plug of wear indicator on wheel carrier.
2. Disconnect the speed sensor on the ABS sensor.
3. Push brake pad back slightly and evenly with piston resetting fixture (replaces P83) NR.144 -direction arrow-. Make sure that no brake fluid runs
out of the supply tank - if necessary, remove by suction.
4. Undo brake caliper on wheel carrier and hang it in a suitable place in the wheel well (do not open the brake hydraulics!).
5. Remove brake disc after unscrewing the fastening screw. If necessary, remove the brake disc by tapping it gently with a rubber hammer.
