2. Disconnect the combination connector. To do this, carefully open the cable duct if necessary -arrow-.

3. Disconnect the two hydraulic connections -arrows- at the front and the two hydraulic connections at the rear, not shown (use a suitable collecting
container). Seal the lines with suitable and clean (!) stoppers.

4. Unscrew valve block fastening screws and carefully remove the valve block.
5. When replacing the valve block wiring harness: Number the valves and pressure sensors (using a felt-tip pen, for example). Push back the insulator
slightly and assign the cable colors to the corresponding valves/pressure sensors.
6. Remove the wiring harness. Pull off the connectors on the valves/pressure sensors. Fit the wiring harness onto the new valve block.
7. Installation is performed in reverse order. Observe correct tightening torques.
Subsequent work
Subsequent work for FA valve block
1. Install wheel housing liner and fit front wheel.
2. Top up and check the fluid level.
3. Allow the engine to run for approx. 10 minutes (scavenging the system). Then connect the PIWIS Tester.
4. Select the Cayenne PDCC menu item and work through the following points in sequence. Follow the instructions on the PIWIS Tester:

Calibration ] Pressure sensor calibration.

Perform reset.

Select Drive links ] Valve timing.

Select Drive links ] Bleed.

Drive links ] Perform system test.
-
Read out and erase fault memory.
-
Perform a test drive.
