26. Loosen fastening nut for ground point at the wheel housing in direction of travel going right -arrow- and remove cable.
Securing main wire harness in luggage compartment
1. Installation is performed in reverse order.
2. First lay the main wire harness loosely in the luggage compartment, ensuring that it is positioned correctly.
3. Clip in cable ducts.
4. Clip in main wire harness in luggage compartment as well as lines coming from it.
5. Plug in control units and electric plug connections until they engage securely.
6. Connect ground points.
7. Secure sound absorbers and trim panels.
Subsequent work
1. Plug in electric plug connection for locking mechanism for backrests at the left and right until it engages securely.
