The clock has a permanent earth on the B wire and while the starter switch is in position O, a battery feed from fuse 12 on a P wire which retains the correct time in the clock memory whilst showing no display. When the starter switch is in position II, power from fuse 3 on the G wire will activate the display.

No charge warning light The brake warning light receives an ignition supply from fuse 3 on the G wire and is connected to the alternator on the N/Y wire. The light will illuminate until the voltage it receives on the N/Y wire exceeds battery voltage.

Oil pressure warning light When oil pressure drops below a set level, the contacts in the oil pressure switch are closed. This provides a path to earth for the warning light on the W/N wire causing it to illuminate.

Brake system warning light The brake warning light receives an ignition supply from fuse 3 on the G wire. The earth path for the warning light is either on the S/B wire from the handbrake switch or on the B/W from the fluid level switch (located in the top of the brake fluid level reservoir). If either switch is closed, the earth path will be completed and the warning lamp illuminated indicating the handbrake is in the ON position or the brake fluid level is LOW.

Indicator warning lights This warning light gives a visual indication when the direction indicators or hazards lights are operated. The indicator circuit provides battery voltage to the LH warning light on the G/R wire and the RH warning light on the G/W wire.

Main beam warning light Gives an indication that the headlamps are being operated on main beam by switching battery voltage to the light on the U/G wire via fuse 5 in the passenger compartment fuse box.
