Door Open

The door open warning light will illuminate as a result of receiving an earth on a G/R, G/U, G/Y, or G/W wire when one of the doors is open. Battery voltage is supplied from fuse 8 on the Y wire.

Boot/taildoor open Indicates that the boot/taildoor is not fully closed. The boot/taildoor open warning lamp will illuminate as a result of receiving an earth on a G/B wire when the boot/taildoor is open. Battery voltage is supplied from fuse 8 on the Y wire.

Ignition/no charge warning lamp The ignition/no charge warning lamp receives battery voltage on the B/Y wire from fuse 4 in the passenger compartment fuse box and an earth path via the charging circuit on the W/U wire whenever there is insufficient output from the alternator to charge the battery.

Check engine warning lamp The check engine warning lamp will illuminate as a result of receiving an earth on a LG/R wire from the Bosch ECM. Battery voltage is supplied from fuse 8 on the Y wire.

Glow plug warning lamp The warning lamp will illuminate when the glow plugs are operating in the pre-heat mode as a result of receiving battery voltage on the N/O wire from fuse 19 in the engine compartment fuse box via the main relay contacts and an earth path from the Bosch ECM on the R wire.

SRS Power is fed to an internal SRS warning lamp control circuit (inside instrument pack) on a Y wire from fuse 8 in the passenger compartment fuse box and earth is on a B wire. If a fault is detected in the SRS, the airbag control unit will send a signal to the SRS warning lamp control circuit on a U wire and the control circuit will provide voltage to illuminate the SRS warning lamp.

The lamp also indicates the status of the SRS self-check, illuminating for six seconds, if the SRS is functioning correctly, when the ignition is switched ON.
