CYLINDER HEAD GASKET - LH

Service repair no - 12.29.02/01

Remove

  1. Remove camshaft timing belt. See this section.
  2. Remove exhaust manifold gaskets. See this section.

  1. Remove both front oil seals from exhaust camshafts.

  1. Fit tools 18G 1747-2 to both front timing gears.

CAUTION: Tools must be fitted when loosening or tightening gear retaining bolts, otherwise damage to camshafts may occur.

  1. Remove bolts retaining front timing gears and discard.
  2. Remove tools 18G 1747-2.
