  1. Remove output shaft rear bearing cup from support plate.

  1. Noting position of roll pin in gearcase, remove reverse idler gear and shaft assembly.

  1. Move 1st/2nd selector fork sideways and remove input and output shafts complete with selector forks.
  2. Remove 1st/2nd and 3rd/4th selector forks.
Remove 1st/2nd and 3rd/4th selector forks.
  1. Remove clutch release bearing from fork.
  2. Remove ’E’ clip retaining clutch release shaft. Discard ’E’ clip.
