Remove the sliding roof lift guide.

A.

Slide the lift guide forward and remove it.

B.

Disconnect the cable case connector from the lift guide as shown in the illustration.

15.

Using a plastic pry tool, lift the top windshield molding from the rear edge. Then, the roof panel can be lifted out.

HINT:
The roof panel cannot be removed/replaced by itself because the windshield glass and roof panel are built into the molding. First, the molding
must be lifted, and then the roof panel can be replaced.

16.

Remove the sliding roof housing sub-assembly by removing the 16 nuts and panel.

CAUTION:

When removing the panel, be careful NOT to damage the vehicle. Perform this step with two (2) or more people.
