NG -- REPLACE IGNITION SWITCH
OK -- REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR (IGNITION SWITCH - ECM)

8. INSPECT CLUTCH START SWITCH OR PARK/NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH

(a) Inspect the Park/Neutral Position (PNP) switch connector (for automatic transaxle models).

(1) Disconnect the park/neutral position switch connector.
(2) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance:

(3) Reconnect the park/neutral position switch connector.

(b) Inspect the clutch start switch (for manual transaxle models).

(1) Disconnect the clutch start switch connector.
(2) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
Standard resistance:

(3) Reconnect the clutch start switch connector.
NG -- REPLACE CLUTCH START SWITCH OR PARK/NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH
OK -- Continue to next step.

9. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (CLUTCH START SWITCH OR PNP SWITCH - IGNITION SWITCH AND ECM)
