Installing
Installing
–  Fit the pedal assembly and clutch pump into the dash panel base and tighten the new bolts to the torque of 25 Nm.
–  Place clutch pedal switch -F36- in mounting and turn 45° to right.
–  Plug in the connector of the clutch pedal switch -F36 -.
–  Fit the crash strap of the clutch pedal and tighten the fastening bolt to a torque of 20 Nm.
–  Install footwell cover on driver side → body - inner assembly work; Rep. gr. 68 .
   
Vehicles with start/stop system:
–  Insert the clutch position sender -G476- up to the end of the master cylinder when the connector is closed.
l  Clutch position sender must clip in -arrow A-.
–  To check, pull on clutch position sender-arrow B-.

–  Remove from the clutch master cylinder the hydraulic circuit clamp (male) -SAT 1211-and the hydraulic circuit clamp (female)from the pipe and hose assembley -SAT 1210-.
–  Press pipe and hose lines -C- with new sealing ring into mount on master cylinder until retaining clip -B- arrests audibly.
–  Detach the hose clamp -U 30042- from the hose trailing -A-.
–  After fitting the pedal assembly and the clutch pump, the clutch system must be bled of air → Chapter.
–  Install air cleaner housing → Rep. gr.23.
–  With the ignition switched off, connect battery earth strap.
