  Note
t  The base strips of the gear change forks have been machined (drilled) together. If any element must be replaced then the entire mechanism must be replaced together.
t  Do not mix up the base strip for 1st/2nd gear → Item with that of 3rd/4th gear → Item
1 - 3rd/4th gear prong
2 - Ball bearing
q   Remove → Fig.
q   Insertion → Fig.
3 - Securing washer
q   Always replace.
q   Removing → Fig.

q   Identification → Fig.
q   Following the installation of the securing washers, the pins should move freely

10 - 3rd/4th gear base strip
11 - Reverse gear base strip

q   Identification → Fig.
q   Following the installation of the securing washers, the pins should move freely
